The total "price tag" of the entire company. It represents how much it would cost to buy every single share of the company's stock at its current market price.

Tells you how many dollars investors are willing to pay today for every $1 of the company's annual profit. It shows how expensive the stock is relative to its net income.

How much you are paying for every $1 of the company's total top-line revenue (sales), completely ignoring expenses or profits.

Compares the stock's price to the company's "book value" (its literal net asset value on paper if it shut down, sold everything, and paid off all debts today).

Adjusts the P/E ratio by factoring in how fast the company's earnings are actually growing. It answers the question: Is a high P/E justified by high growth?

Traditional revenue only looks backward at what was already billed. ARR looks forward, acting as a baseline predictor of the company's financial momentum.

Out of every $100 a company brings in from sales, how much is left over after paying for the direct costs of producing or delivering that product? For CrowdStrike, this means subtracting core costs like server hosting fees and customer support.

Out of every $100 earned, how much profit is left after paying for the product plus all everyday corporate overhead (employee salaries, global marketing, and AI research)? This measures the health of the core business before factoring in taxes or interest debts.

For every $100 of net worth (equity) shareholders have invested in the company, how many dollars of pure profit does management generate? It evaluates management's ability to turn shareholder capital into bottom-line returns.

Similar to ROE, but it factors in all capital at management's disposal—meaning both shareholder equity and money borrowed from lenders (debt). It answers: How efficiently does the business generate operating profits from the total capital poured into the corporate machine?

Out of everything the company owns (cash reserves, office spaces, acquired technologies, intellectual property), how many dollars of profit does it squeeze out of every $100 worth of those assets? It highlights asset deployment efficiency.

The total amount of borrowed money a company owes to corporate bondholders, banks, or lenders that it must eventually repay with interest. It does not include regular everyday bills, rent leases, or standard operational liabilities.

The company's underlying "net worth" or book value on paper. If the company were to completely shut down today, sell off every asset it owns (cash, offices, AI software code), and pay off absolutely all of its debts and liabilities, Equity is the remaining dollar amount that would belong to the shareholders.

Measures how heavily a company relies on borrowing money versus using its own money to fund its growth. It answers the question: Is this business taking on too much structural risk?

The true surplus cash a company pulls in from its daily operations after paying for all expenses and physical investments (like buying data servers or building facilities). While "Net Income" is an accounting profit metric calculated on paper, FCF is actual, unrestricted cash landing inside the company's bank vault. Companies can use clever accounting adjustments to manipulate net profits, but they cannot fake cash. FCF is what companies use to buy back stock, fund acquisitions, and self-finance their operations.

Think of this as the theoretical "interest rate" the company's operations generate relative to the price tag of the stock. If the company decided to hand over 100% of its surplus annual cash directly to investors as a cash dividend, the FCF Yield is the percentage return you would receive on your investment today.

Tracks whether corporate insiders are using their own personal money to buy more company stock, or if they are selling off their holdings. While an insider buying stock is a strong sign of confidence, an insider selling stock is common practice for diversification or tax planning.

The overall paycheck given to the core leadership team. Fundamental analysts slice this into two buckets: fixed cash salary and variable performance incentives (stock awards and bonuses).

A "speedometer" that measures how fast and how far a stock's price has been driven up or down over the last 14 days. It tells you if a stock is dangerously overheated (overbought) or heavily discounted (oversold).

A trend tracker that behaves like two vehicles driving side-by-side. It compares a fast-moving average price and a slow-moving average price to see if the stock is gathering speed in an uptrend or slamming on the brakes.

Compares where a stock closed today relative to its highest and lowest prices over the last 14 days. It assumes that if a stock is in a healthy, aggressive uptrend, it should consistently close near the very top of its daily range.

Geometric roadmaps formed by a stock's price over weeks or months. Because human traders and algorithms react predictably to market events, they leave behind shapes (like triangles, flags, or channels) that signal who is winning the market tug-of-war.

The individual visual building blocks of a price chart. Each candle reveals the intraday battle between buyers (bulls) and sellers (bears). A cluster of candles helps predict immediate direction over the next 1 to 3 sessions.

Purely objective mathematical benchmarks calculated using the previous day's High, Low, and Close. It gives day traders a central "anchor line" (Pivot) and a mathematical grid of support and resistance lines for the very next trading day.

Similar to the float metric, but this compares the shorted shares against absolutely every share in existence—including locked-up corporate shares owned by founders, company insiders, and large institutions that cannot be openly traded on the stock exchange.

If every short seller suddenly panicked today and tried to buy back their shares to close out their bets, how many trading days would it take them based on the stock's normal daily trading volume? It measures how easily short sellers can escape their positions.

Tracks whether the total pool of short sellers is expanding or shrinking over a 90-day window. It tells you if the bearish crowd is gaining confidence or retreating.

The annualized "interest rate" fee that brokerage firms charge short sellers to rent the stock shares. If a stock is heavily shorted and available shares are incredibly scarce, this borrow fee skyrockets.

An overall evaluation of how likely it is that a sudden burst of positive news will trigger a domino effect—forcing short sellers to desperately buy back shares to limit losses, which accidentally sends the stock price straight up like a rocket.

Widely known as Wall Street's 'Fear Gauge.' The VIX measures how much price turbulence institutional investors expect the S&P 500 to experience over the next 30 days. It doesn't look at past performance; instead, it looks at how aggressively options traders are buying insurance to protect their portfolios.
